DeeM Studio has cultivated a design style focussing on strong interior architecture within its cultural context and a layering of detailing, material texture, colour, furniture, lighting and artwork. DeeM blends simplicity and eclectic style, and the contemporary and aged, in an attempt to create interiors that are rich, comfortable and modern. DeeM believes in respecting and maintaining the integrity of the building envelope, while drawing on details / objects from different periods and cultures as appropriate to the Client’s own individual sense of style and purpose.

DeeM Studio (formerly Dialogue Limited) was established in Hong Kong in 2000 by Australian interior designers with over 30 years of experience working in Hong Kong, China, across Asia, Australia and the UK. DeeM works on a broad range of interior architecture projects, including restaurants and bars, apartments and houses, small - medium scale offices, shops and salons, schools, galleries, and other specialty interiors.

DeeM’s diversity also extends to furniture, product and exhibition design and curation – either as an integral part of a design project, or separately as commissioned. In 2011 Director, Debra Little, opened DeeM Retail & Gallery in Hong Kong - a unique design and art space, representing its own collection of products: furniture, lighting and objects, the work of other contemporary Designers, and a select group of international artists.

For the Directors of DeeM Studio, maintaining a medium sized design practice, has allowed a great deal of satisfaction in undertaking only design focused project work, not being bound by formula based design, and injecting a fresh innovative approach to each project it has delivered.
